This massive cherry burl was obtained from a local farm in western Indiana. The client requested to see what I could create from this unique piece of wood.

After many hours of very tense carving and a lengthy drying process, the results turned out amazing. A chunk of wood has inherent beauty if you work hard to reveal it.

This unique, beautiful bowl belongs in a private collection from the property where it was harvested.
